It really hit me today that soon we will be leaving. A dear friend was just diagnosed with cancer and will be going to the hospital in the USA for surgery and might not be back before we leave. It's going to be very hard to leave the people we love, but we will be seeing other loved ones.

I can't wait! It feels so surreal that they are actually going to be back home again.
I am so excited for you. I don't know if I could handle not seeing my mom and dad for that long.
