We were so sad that we were unable to go to Montana for Christmas but so happy that Trent's parents aka Grandma Adele and Grandpa Phil decided to come and visit us in January. It's hard for them to come down to visit us because it's a very long drive and they have a lot of responsibilities in Montana. We were so grateful that they were able to come and visit us. When they first arrived, Phil was wearing a red shirt. When Blake opened the door he took one look and started screaming. Apparently the white hair and red shirt looked a little too much like Santa Clause.
We had a lot of fun hanging out at the house. Here are Blake and grandpa hanging out together.
When Trent and Phil weren't golfing we were able to get out to see the fish.
The kids had a great time at Bass Pro Shops playing with the guns, golfing, and looking at all the animals.
Avery was so excited that Grandma Adele was able to come and watch her at dance class.
We always have a great time with Grandma Adele and Grandpa Phil. I wish we lived closer so that we could see them more often. We sure do cherish the times that we do get to spend together and we can't wait until this summer.

It's so nice Phil and Adele were able to visit. Like you said, it's a long way to travel, time away from responsibilities in Montana is difficult and poor health makes a long trip hard. It's great that you can cherish the time spent with them. Even a short visit is cherished.
