This year Halloween was crazy busy and crazy fun. We had a party with friends, the school carnival, 3 class parties, the ward trunk-or-treat, and trick-or-treating with friends. At the party with our friends we decorated caramel apples, dug for pumpkins, ate yummy food, and fed the dads so ooey, gooey, brains and other nasty foods:)
Every year at the ward trunk-or-treat my kids are just hoping and praying that they win the costume contest and every year we go home empty handed. We thought that this year with Avery's hair and sparkles, Ashlyn's homemade cloak and makeup, and Blake's scary skeleton pirate face we would have at least 1 winner. We didn't win, but we sure rocked our outfits anyway.
This year we went to our friends neighborhood and trick-or-treated with them. It was a lot of fun. It was the 1st year that Trent and I haven't been pushing a stroller or carrying a child the entire way so it was especially fun for us. The kids really like all the fancy decorations and of course the work mule filled with candy.
We definitely scored as far as candy goes. We added up all the candy that we got from all the different parties we went to and it totalled over 17 pounds! Now that's what I call SCORE!!!

Wow, what a lot of candy! Looks like Las Vegas is the place to be for Halloween with all those parties.
