The school year ended and another grade was finished. Avery graduated from Kindergarten. She loved her teacher Mrs. Rogers and she made lots of memories.
Ashlyn finished the 3rd grade. She loved her teacher Mrs. Rossi. Once again she made the A Honor Roll. So far she has earned A honor roll for every trimester that she has been in grade school.
I was so proud of the girls and their accomplishments this year. I decided to take them out to dinner, at a fancy restaurant (fancy for them) to celebrate. We went to the Olive Garden:) They got all dressed up and had so much fun!
I loved this picture so much I had to add it in. Some days it's hard to know if the girls like each other or not, but this picture proves to me how much love they have for each other.
We decided to give Ashlyn her birthday present early so that she could use it while we were on vacation. We also gave it to her right after we gave her the bad news that we were taking her off of her competitive soccer team. We took her off the team for many reasons, but the biggest reason is that we prayed about it and decided that it was not a good place for her or our family at that time. Anyway, the present was her own ipod touch. She loves having her own games, music, and books all to herself. It sure softened the blow of the bad news and it has been glued to her hand ever since.
