While my parents were here we were able to go to a really neat botanical garden. This garden definitely wasn't like the one in Seattle. There were Christmas lights covering every kind of cactus you could think of. There is something so peaceful about walking around amidst an enormous amount of Christmas lights.
When we first got there we were able to catch the very end of the live band show. They were playing the song from Charlie Brown. We've heard that song a few times since and the kids get so excited because they remember how much grandma and grandpa loved listening to it.
Things weren't quite as peaceful when we went to see Santa. Blake was terrified! Personally I think there is nothing cuter than a good Santa picture with a screaming child:)
We had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa. We can't wait to see them again and spend as much time with them as we can. I don't think a day has gone by where the kids haven't mentioned how much fun they had spending time with their grandparents.
