Thanksgiving Weekend part 2

The Friday after Thanksgiving we went to the Mesa temple to see the light display. It was an experience that I had never had before. When we got to the temple there were protesters across the street chanting. It made me really sad, but it did not take away from the spirit of the night. I had never seen the Mesa temple before, so that part was really neat. The lights were gorgeous.
It was nice that we weren't freezing like we always are when we go to the Salt Lake temple to see the lights. The kids all ended up taking their coats off. There were so many people there so it stayed pretty warm in the crowds.

On Saturday we went to take Santa pictures. They didn't turn out very well, so want to redo mine. After that we changed, ate dinner and played at the outdoor mall. Here are all of the cousins from the Johansen family minus Blake who was sleeping (never wake a sleeping baby right?!)

My kids have been wanting to go and play in the snow like we do at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They are sad that we can't go there this year. At the mall they had pretend snow (soap) fall from the sky every 20 minutes or so. Ashlyn and Avery had a lot of fun. Hopefully that won't be all the snow they see this year.
