Easter is always a fun time of year. It's nice and warm out, the sun is shining, and the kids get to have Easter Egg Hunts with their friends.
We always decorate eggs as a family and then eat egg-salad sandwiches for days.
On Easter Sunday, the kids came down the stairs before church and saw what the Easter Bunny had left for them. Every year the Bunny leaves a basket with candy, a book, and some sort of goody. This year he filled all of our plastic eggs and left them for us to hide and seek. After church we hid the eggs and the kids ran outside to find all the goodies.
Later that evening we had a really nice Family Home Evening where we discussed the Resurrection and what it means to us. We are so thankful for our Savior and the example that he left for us while he was on this earth. We know that if we follow this example, do our best, and use the Atonement that he gave us, we will return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father again.

The kids look so cute in their outfits. Thanks for emphasizing the reason we celebrate Easter. I can't wait to meet the Savior. I hope we can all spend some good quality time with Him.
